Why is any of this happening? Why does anyone think this is okay?
Now's as good a time as any - a time where there is a lot of awareness spreading around and I don't think this is going to reach anyone - but it's my piece on what to say and at least with this maybe I'll be able to find some superficial peace that I've said something about this, this evil.
There is a video up on the internet about OFFICERS killing a man! Officers that were supposed to protect him - defend his rights - the same officers killed him in cold blood while he begged for help and struggled. It's almost too gruesome to even look at. Is this what the world has come to? Is this who we are as a race?
I, for one, think this perfectly describes human being. We are complex but can be broken down. We divide and we divide and we divide - it's almost like we have a need to die all alone. We divide on the basis of colour sexual preference, gender, caste, religion and nationality.
When you look at someone - they're different -of course, they are - what kind of a world would it be if we all looked like clones - but aren't they humans too? To anyone who thinks they are superior to anyone else - who the fuck gave you the right to think so? I'm genuinely curious. You're equal - everyone is equal - I'm sorry if your ego just took a dive and that didn't sound good - but you are. You're not superior and if you think so just go back to sleep because you're dreaming.
Every single human being can be just as amazing. Every single human being is just as special. Every single human being is just as beautiful. Every single human being should be treated just as well.
We are all one race - so why do we divide ourselves, why do we discriminate, why are we unjust, why are we ignorant to the problems are race faces as a whole, why do some people think they're superior?
Just one question - why? Racism - if you look at it from the outside - it's stupid, that's the only real word for it. People treat someone differently just because of melanin - a skin pigment of all things, just because someone's skin looks a little different. Colour! Colours make things beautiful like a painting for example. Our different skin tones should make us beautiful as a race as a whole and perhaps if we looked at it differently it might. Instead, it divides us even though it shouldn't!
So, is it really that much to ask that you look at everyone as an equal - because at the end of the day - EVERY single human being on this planet is EQUAL! Let's stop this discrimination because we can. We can if we try because if we started looking at everyone with the same positivity and the same attitude then the world would genuinely be such a good place. It can start with us - together we can do it. and the keyword in that sentence is together - without discrimination and division, each and every single one of us - together...
I'm not an influencer or someone - I'm just someone who cares, someone who has so much to say, someone who has a voice. And everyone has a voice - so use yours too - because then we can truly make a difference!
